in Jun 2006, Bob and Hina and I went on a photo/hiking trip to Glacier NP. it is probably the most amazing mountain scenery i have ever seen.

some of the best pie ever made is at the Park Cafe near the St Marys entrance to the park. in fact we had pie there one afternoon and came back for more for breakfast the next morning. they also have super friendly staff and a great breakfast and lunch line up.
we stayed at the Many Glacier Lodge. the old style park-i-tecture with huge log posts holding up the 4 story building is itself an amazing sight to behold.
one day we drove north of the border to Waterton Lakes NP and had dinner at the Prince of Wales Hotel. the view from the dining room is magnificent and the food is much better than you would get at a US National Park.
